Strawberry Fizz Mocktail
If you’re looking for a refreshing mocktail recipe that feels like a treat without the sugar overload, this Strawberry Fizz Mocktail is one of my favourites. It’s light, hydrating, naturally alcohol free.
Many women in perimenopause and menopause tell me that alcohol affects their sleep, mood and energy far more than it used to. Swapping to alcohol free mocktails like this one is a simple change that can make a noticeable difference, without feeling deprived.
This drink is cold, slushy and properly refreshing. It works beautifully for gatherings, but is also lovely as a weekend treat when you want something special that still supports your health.
Why this mocktail works for women 40 plus
Strawberries are naturally low in sugar compared to many fruits and provide antioxidants that support overall health. Lemon juice adds freshness while helping to keep the drink light and sharp rather than overly sweet. Using sparkling water keeps hydration high, which is especially important during menopause.
Unlike many fruity drinks, this low sugar mocktail avoids syrups, cordials and artificial sweeteners, making it a more blood sugar friendly option.
