Virgin Passionfruit Coconut Mocktail
If you are looking for a drink that feels special without the side effects of alcohol, Virgin Passionfruit Coconut mocktail is a beautiful option. Light, tropical and gently refreshing, this mocktail supports hydration, blood sugar balance and overall wellbeing, especially for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
Many women tell me that alcohol affects their sleep, mood, anxiety levels and energy far more than it used to. Even small amounts can disrupt blood sugar and sleep quality. Choosing alcohol free drinks more often is one of the simplest ways to feel better without feeling restricted.
This recipe is easy, naturally low in sugar and made with real ingredients that work with your body rather than against it.
Why this mocktail works for women 40 plus
Coconut water provides gentle hydration and natural electrolytes, which can be helpful during menopause when dehydration is more common. Passionfruit adds flavour and antioxidants without excessive sugar, while lime brings freshness and balance. Fresh mint supports digestion and makes the drink feel uplifting and cooling.
Unlike many shop bought mocktails, this recipe avoids syrups, cordials and artificial sweeteners. That makes it a more blood sugar friendly mocktail, which is key for energy, mood and weight management.

1 ripe passionfruit
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Soda water, to top
A few fresh mint leaves
How to make it
Scoop the passionfruit pulp into a glass.
Add the lime juice and coconut water, then fill the glass with plenty of ice.

For extra sparkle, use half coconut water and half soda water.
Garnish with mint or a slice of lime and serve immediately.
When to enjoy this drink
This mocktail is ideal for warm days, social occasions, evenings when alcohol disrupts your sleep or anytime you want something refreshing that still supports your health. It is also a lovely option during a reset period when you are focusing on hydration, hormone balance and steady energy.
Small changes that make a big difference
Reducing alcohol is one of the most powerful yet underestimated steps for improving sleep, reducing anxiety and supporting weight management during menopause. It does not have to be all or nothing. Simple swaps like this mocktail can make a noticeable difference over time.
These are exactly the kinds of realistic changes I focus on in my work. Nothing extreme, nothing complicated, just supportive habits that fit into real life.
