Spinach and Feta Turkey Burgers
Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers
These burgers are a healthy dinner idea and don't involve too much kitchen time. Its delicious served with a side salad.
Ingredients
- 1 cup is 2.36dl 
- 1 pound ground turkey (organic if possible) 
- 1 cup oats 
- 2 egg whites 
- 10 ounces (284 grams)frozen spinach thawed, chopped, drained 
- 1 cup feta cheese crumbled 
- 1 tsp dried minced onion or finely chopped 
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder or fresh garlic 
- 1/4 tsp black pepper 
- 1 pinch salt. Fresh herbs and spices to your taste. Optional. 
Directions
- Thaw and thoroughly drain spinach. 
- Add all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Combine with your hands. Do not over mix. 
- Form into 6 burgers. Preheat kitchen griddle or drying pan to medium heat and melt 1 tbsp. of coconut oil or butter. 
- Heat burgers 8 to 10 minutes. Around 4 to 5 mins on each side or until fully cooked. 
- Serve warm on a toasted whole grain bun or serve with a side salad and no bread. Enjoy!
