Berry Balance Fizz Mocktail

If you enjoy something fresh and celebratory in your glass but want to avoid the sugar spikes and alcohol related fatigue, this Berry Balance Fizz is a lovely option. It is alcohol free, lightly sparkling and designed to support digestion, hydration and steadier energy.

Why choose low sugar mocktails?

Many traditional mocktails rely on fruit juice, syrups or sweeteners that can quickly push sugar intake up. This can lead to energy dips, cravings and bloating, something I see often in clinic.

By keeping sweetness optional and focusing on fresh ingredients, this drink feels refreshing and satisfying without overwhelming the system.

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • ½ cup fresh mint leaves

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

  • 1 to 2 teaspoons raw honey (optional)

  • ½ cup blueberries

  • ½ cup strawberries, sliced

  • 300 ml unsweetened coconut water

  • 300 ml sparkling water or soda water

  • Ice cubes

  • Optional garnish: extra mint leaves and a lime wheel

How to make it

Add the mint leaves to a jug and gently muddle to release the flavour.
Add the lemon juice and lime juice. If using raw honey, stir well until dissolved.
Add the blueberries and strawberries and gently press a few to release their juices.
Pour in the coconut water and stir.
Just before serving, add the sparkling water.
Fill glasses with ice, pour and garnish if desired.

Why this supports women’s health

Mint and citrus can support digestion and help reduce bloating.
Berries are rich in antioxidants which support skin health and healthy ageing.
Coconut water supports hydration, which many women find helpful for energy, headaches and cravings.
Keeping sweetness optional helps support blood sugar balance and reduces the risk of energy crashes.

This is a drink that feels light and uplifting, but still nourishing.
